5 Reasons I’m Excited About the 2012 Shaklee Global Conference!

We’re just six weeks away from the Shaklee Global Conference, an annual event attended by Shaklee Distributors from all over the world. In my role as Vice President of Field Development, Global Conference is one of my main projects, and it’s like no other meeting you can imagine—a training and networking event and a celebration all wrapped into one!

Here are a five reasons why I’m excited about this year’s Global Conference in Las Vegas:

1. Seeing growth. I love meeting Shaklee Distributors who are at Global Conference for the first time. The experience opens them up to a whole new world of possibilities for their business, and I know that when I see them next year, they will have grown.

2. Experiencing Shaklee through our Distributors. The Global Conference is where we make announcements about our new products, as well as trips that are a part of the rewards we offer. It’s a time for those of us who work at Shaklee to see just how what we’ve created will impact our Distributors—and it’s great to share in their excitement and enthusiasm.

3. Our Leaders. I’m always amazed when I get to listen to some of our top Leaders as they share their business knowledge with their fellow Shaklee Distributors. The exchange of ideas and the real-world examples can really make the difference for a Distributor trying to grow their business.

4. Inspiration. There is something special when our Chairman and CEO Roger Barnett shares his vision for the company in front of thousands of people who each have a part in making that vision a reality. It’s a great moment at the Conference and it serves as a touchstone for each Shaklee Distributor throughout the year.

5. Building community. In a business where you can be working on your own a lot of the time, Global Conference is a great opportunity for Distributors to meet other people doing what they’re doing and to build a network of colleagues with whom they can share successes, challenges, and ideas.
